Significant Price Adjustment as of January 2026

For many years, our goal has been to keep our sales prices stable for you for as long as possible. Stable prices stand for reliability, planning certainty and trust – values that are of central importance to us in our relationships with our customers.

In recent months and years, we have not passed on increasing costs for raw materials, energy and administration to our customers. Until now, we have been able to offset the resulting additional burdens through internal measures such as process optimization, efficiency improvements in production, and the reduction of energy and administrative costs. A price adjustment for our customers was therefore not necessary up to this point.

However, this strategy has now reached its limits.

Developments in recent months in the market for tungsten-based raw materials have intensified massively due to various factors – including geopolitical tensions, artificial shortages and a sharply increased demand. As a result, we are currently facing price increases in the range of approximately 150%–200%, with no end to this trend in sight at present.

This situation, which is exceptional in both scale and dynamics, can no longer be absorbed by internal measures alone. In order to ensure security of supply, the accustomed product quality and the long-term stability of our company, we are compelled to significantly adjust our prices for tungsten-based products as of January 2026.

The extent of the price adjustments will vary depending on the product group and application. Of course, we will inform our customers individually and transparently about the specific effects.
